Assigns a design standard to a Civil Geometry element or changes the design standard on an element.

You can access this tool from the following:

Set Element Design Standard assigns a design standard to a Civil Geometry element or changes the design standard on an element.

Set Element Design Standard works in conjunction with the Design Standard Toolbar. The active design standard shown in the toolbar is the one that will be assigned to the selected element.

Workflow

1. Click Set Element Design Standard. The Design Standard toolbar displays.

2. Select the design standard to assign.

3. Select the element to which the design standard will be assigned.

4. Select the element to see that the design standard has been applied.

• If the parameters of the element are deficient from the requirements of the standard, error glyphs will appear on screen and in the Civil Message Center. The element is not changed, only the errors are reported.
